Back River Farm, Dover, NH

Latest News:

Tickets! Buy Early and Save!

Full info is on our ticket page. But, if you already know you are ready to buy your GBMF tickets, here you go! For your convenience, tickets are also available at area Bull Moose Music Stores.

Please Note: The question has come up regarding 3-day passes and our re-admission fee for leaving and re-entering the festival. Below is clarification.

1) The best deal available right now is the 3-day pass for $45.00. These will be $50.00 at the gate.

2) With the 3-day pass, you are free to leave each night and come back each morning if you like. Or, if you prefer, tent camping is included in the price.

3) The gate re-admission fee is only if people are leaving and coming back within the same day. This is meant as a deterrent for this activity to reduce impact on the land and traffic through the adjoining neighborhood. Obviously, if there is some kind of emergency situation, let the gate staff know. The key is simply to avoid any frivolous trips in and out.

4) The day passes are available for $25 per day. These are only available at the gate and not via pre-sale.

5) Finally, please note that we can not process credit cards at the gate. If you need to use a credit / debit card, please buy in advance on our website or at Bullmoose Music or at The UNH Bookstore or MUB Box Office if you are a UNH Student. Gates are cash only.

UNH Students - Discount Tickets Available on Campus!:
UNH Students: You can simply pick up their tickets on campus if you like. They are available for sale at the UNH Bookstore and at the MUB boxoffice at a 20% discount off the face value!

A General Note About Parking:
Parking is available on-site for a substantial number of vehicles. That being said, arrive early and plan on staying. Parking IS still limited and once it's gone, it's gone. The property owner will make this determination in the best interest of the event and the land in conjunction with local regulations and authorities. If the lot is full when you arrive, you will be directed to satellite options (see below).

The folks at UNH have graciously told us that "Lot A" is available for public use after 6pm on Friday 9/18 until 5am Monday 9/21/09. This parking lot is only 4 miles (approx.) away from the site. Also, Wildcat Transit has bus routes that will bring you closer to the event. In particular, they have a stop at Wagon Hill Farm on Rt. 4 that is only a couple miles away, and another stop on the other side of the Back River Road lights that suits as well. You can find their transit schedule HERE.

Please note that if you choose to use UNH parking, you are doing so at your own risk. This lot has been made available as a convenience. UNH and Great Bay Music Festival will not be held responsible for lost or stolen items, property damage, or personal injury resulting from your decision to park there and find appropriate transportation. The most up to date parking information is available HERE.

GBMF Day Passes To Be Offered:
Due to popular demand, we will be offing day passes for the 2009 Great Bay Music Festival for those whose schedules do not allow them to attend all 3 days. Please be aware that your best overall value is still the 3-day pass for $45 before the show or $50 on the day(s) of show. Also, the current UNH student discounting WILL NOT apply for day passes. Day passes will be full price only.

Rubblebucket & Spiritual Rez Added To 2009 GBMF!:

Rubblebucket is a nine-piece polyrhythmic dance/rock band led by trumpeter Alex Toth and fronted by the alluring vocals of Kalmia Traver. Comparisons have been drawn to Talking Heads, Fela Kuti, Bjork and James Brown, but Rubblebucket's afro-beat inspired, trip-rock soul experience is beyond classification. In addition to winning Relix Magazine's Jam-Off competition in July 2008, Rubblebucket was recently named "Best New Band of 2008," by Seven Days Vermont. The title had previously been held by GRACE POTTER & THE NOCTURNALS (2005, 2006) and PHISH (2003, 2004).

Spiritual Rez, the Reggae Horn Funk Party is a 6 piece band who has tirelessly toured the country promoting positive music and attitude. Having released two independent records, the band has played with international acts like Jimmy Buffett, Culture, Israel Vibration and Buju Banton as well as have founding Parliament Funkadelic member Bernie Worrell sit in on their live shows.
